Incredibly proud of Lake View Cricket Club’s stealer season of Goldfields Cricket this year! The guys won the Eastern Goldfields Cricket Association’s A grade Champions Grand Final yesterday at Sir Richard Moore Oval.

Beating Great Boulder by four wickets, after a week of uncertainty if play would go ahead given the temperamental wet weather conditions! Great Boulder would have won the premiership if the game was a wash out as had been predicted.

It caps a remarkable comeback for Lake View under new coach Nick Dillon, claiming their first title in six years after winning just five games in the previous two seasons.

All rounder Leon Coombs was named the Cranston Medallist as best afield. Well done to everyone in the Club from all at Worthy Parts!
