A big congratulations to Olympians Basketball Club on their Grand Final wins in the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Basketball Association over the weekend which included the Division 1 & 2 Women and the Division 3 Men. This followed a flying start for the women’s teams at the commencement of the season, which lead into a tight finals campaign that saw some close finishes leading up to the big dance. Worthy Parts have been and continue to be a proud sponsor of The Olympians Basketball Club. We wish to also congratulate our very own Director Jaymi Worthington and Managing Director Michael Worthington on their involvement both in a coaching and playing capacity this season. Women’s coach Jaymi Worthington was ecstatic with the win, saying “It was fantastic to win three senior grand finals this season! It was a culmination of a lot of hard work from the players, coaches and committee members. All players involved should be very proud of themselves. The Division 1 Women’s team in particular, had an awesome win in a close contest against arch rivals CBC. I’d like to thank all the supporters that came out to cheer us on for all three games and be part of the celebrations.”
