State source partners PJL Group recently had a unique request to fulfill for CSA Mine Cobar – to paint their Caterpillar RG2900 Loader bright pink, which would ordinarily be CAT yellow.

FIRST CLASS SERVICE

Based in Orange NSW, PJL Group keep equipment on jobs across the mining, earthmoving, drilling and construction industries. Renown for their first class service this unique job was requested by the CSA Mine Cobar to raise awareness for breast cancer. An enjoyable and different job request for the PJL Group, it took 150 litres of paint to complete the brief.

FUNDRAISING

Held at the PJL Group’s Orange Facility in Leewood Drive, The PJL Group hosted a Pink Fundraiser BBQ on Friday 11th December. The Event raised over $9,000 for the McGrath Foundation and Breast Care Nurses in Regional NSW through raffles and an auction with prizes kindly donated by many local businesses.

We saw the Pink Tractor trekking around the region raising money, but what about a pink Mine Loader. The usually yellow machine has been re-built in Orange, and machine owners decided to add a special touch to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer nurses in regional New South Wales.
