Michael & Jaymi Worthington
Owners

The revolutionary Worthy Parts website was developed by heavy duty mechanical workshop supervisor Michael Worthington and his wife Jaymi. They both grew up in the mining town of Kalgoorlie Boulder, with Michael being born into a mechanical family. His father and two brothers are also qualified heavy duty mechanics. Since it’s establishment in 2014, Worthy Parts has grown into a globally recognised brand, establishing itself in the mining industry and the advertising world.

In 2018, after 4 years of development, Worthy Parts launched sister company Industry Link Media, an advertising platform dedicated to service providers in the mining industry. Together, the two companies work hand in hand to provide clients with solution based services. The directory provides service providers a digital network to be a part of, and the Worthy Parts Industry Link Auction & Expo allows them to network in a physical arena.

Rick Butterfield

The late start into the mechanical trade didn’t stop Rick from hitting the ground running….. Almost jumping straight into a field service ute to repair machines and do long labour hire stints on site. Rick’s positivity was influential in the early conversations with company Director Michael Worthington surrounding the idea of Worthy Parts! After Rick finished his apprenticeship he has found himself working shift-work as an underground fitter at a couple of Goldfields mines before coming back to join the old team and run the Worthy Parts workshop
